China Sanctions Rep. McGovern Over Human Rights Criticism

Congressman James McGovern (D-Worcester) has been sanctioned by China. China has frozen his assets, (he tells us he has no assets in China), and he and his family have been put on a travel ban list.
McGovern says that if China is upset over his comments on their numerous human rights violations that instead of sanctioning him perhaps what they should do is not violate people’s human rights. That he takes it as a badge of honor that Chinese leadership is annoyed by him.
McGovern talks about the inflammatory remarks former President Donald Trump made to Black Journalists over V.P./presumptive Democratic nominee Kamala Harris. McGovern says “The President of the United States is supposed to reflect the character of our nation and I do not believe the character of our nation is reflected in his (Trump) words.”
