The Voice of Business

The Chamber is the lead organization for economic development serving the region’s business community and organizes its work around three major directives:

RECRUIT
Identify and visit industry leaders from companies and sectors of the economy that play to the region’s strengths and who are poised for growth

RETAIN
Maintain and grow jobs through workforce training and collaboration with area colleges and universities, vocational schools, and other educational institutions to retain graduates in the local economy

INCUBATE
Develop and implement programs to support and mentor entrepreneurship, and support local development efforts that create desirable spaces in which to live and work.

Worcester Regional Chamber of Commerce Radio Worcester Highlights Summer Events

Radio Worcester has highlighted several summer events for the local community to enjoy. Michelle Memnon, the Events Coordinator for Diverse Professionals Roundtable, was interviewed about the Swing Into Summer Event she is promoting and her upcoming Spiritually Fabulous Event – Gospel Fest on July 29th on the Worcester Common. Jill Fletcher, the new Events Manager of The Grid/ Worcester Beer Garden, discussed her position and future plans for events at the beer garden this summer. Lastly, Cara Brindisi of the Worcester Public Library appeared to talk about a special event that will be held at the library in August. All three guests provided information on their respective events and shared insight into their positions in order to encourage members of the community to come out and support local businesses.

Radio Worcester is excited to announce the latest episode of our podcast in which we interviewed TnT Guys Travel for the lowdown on great travel deals available now.
