WORCESTER, MASS.- In this edition of Radio Worcester, host Hank Stolz sits down with Realtor Diane Casey Luong to discuss her deep involvement with the national Homes for Heroes® program—a mission-driven initiative that provides financial rewards to community heroes when they buy or sell a home.
For more than five years, Diane has been helping police officers, firefighters, first responders, healthcare workers, teachers, and others in the hero community save money during one of life’s biggest milestones—homeownership. So far, she has helped over 100 heroes receive a combined total of nearly $270,000 in Hero Rewards®.
“Every time I meet a new prospective client and find out they’re a hero, I let them know this program is for them,” Diane says. “At closing, they get a check—a piece of my commission—as a personal thank-you for their service.”
Some clients receive double rewards by both selling and buying with Diane, including one recent recipient who walked away with over $8,200 in Hero Rewards.
Diane’s efforts go beyond real estate transactions. She was recently awarded the Homes for Heroes Outstanding Service Award, which honors agents who show extraordinary commitment to their communities.
“It wasn’t just about the number of heroes I helped,” Diane explains. “It was also about my ongoing community involvement—sponsoring local events, hosting retirees’ lunches, delivering school supplies and goody boxes to first responders, and supporting hero-focused causes whenever I can.”
Her calendar stays full with local events where she can continue showing up for the community she serves, including the Paragus IT Firehouse Cook Off, Holden Days, and other hero-themed happenings throughout Central Massachusetts.
