Dissecting the DOJ Report: Worcester Police, Civilian Oversight, and the City’s Biggest Stories of the Year

The Radio Roundtable, Matt Wally and Gary Rosen, along with Hank and Ben, continues to dissect the Department of Justice Report on the Worcester Police Department and look at the politics surrounding the administrations response. An anonymous hotline has been has been put in place to report alleged police abuses and there is much talk about a civilian oversight board. Hank doubts that the committee will come to pass that already the argument is that POST and the Worcester Human Rights Commission will fulfill that role. Ben thinks the public will demand change and that a civilian review board is the biggest move the city can make.
