What Is the Girls Inc. Eureka Program?
The Girls Inc. Eureka!® Program is a multi-year college and career readiness initiative designed to encourage girls to pursue higher education and careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). Beginning during middle school and continuing through high school, the program combines hands-on learning with mentorship, leadership development, academic support, and real-world experiences.
Participants take part in summer camps, college and workplace visits, internships, community service projects, and leadership activities that help build confidence alongside practical skills. The program also emphasizes healthy decision-making, financial literacy, and preparing for life after high school.
At Girls Inc. of Worcester, the Eureka Program provides young women with a supportive network of mentors and peers while exposing them to opportunities that may not otherwise be available. By combining academic enrichment with personal development, the program helps participants see themselves as future leaders, professionals, and changemakers in their communities.
