New Indoor Football League Launches in Fitchburg 2025
Worcester, MA -A new, 7 on 7, indoor Football League is coming to the Wallace Civic Center in Fitchburg for 2025. Tommy Benizio of the Entertainment Football Association and Frank Steinway, Director of Fun for the team give us details. The focus will be on a fun experience and music sounds like it will be a big part of it, with half time acts as well as keeping the party going after the game. Inexpensive, family entertainment with exciting arena football is the focus of the new league. Fitchburg is the second team to be announced. Danbury, CT has already been announced and two more teams will fill out the league for the first season. The game plan is for the teams to be a bus ride away from each other in underserved cities such as Fitchburg. Former NFL player Andre Reed is the Entertainment Football League commissioner.
