Old Big D/Price Chopper Demolition to Begin in Weeks
It’s true. The old Big D/Price Chopper on Mill St. will be demolished. Worcester City Manager Eric Batista tells us the developer does plan to tear the eyesore down. Batista said the owner has reached out and said he will be demolishing the building. The city takes him at his word and looks for that demolition to get under way in the next few weeks. The City Manager said the city has done a zoning change for the area so that housing can go up to five levels of housing. The City Manager also went over the changes coming to Mill St.
