QCC President Dr. Luis Pedraja talks about his personal education journey, being an English language learner, and how that connects him to the students. For some students they look around and wonder if they belong. Dr. Pedraja speaks on making a community where they know they belong. Pedraja says even in his own life he suffered at times from imposter syndrome and how that allows him to help others. Programs such as MassEducate and MassReconnect are allowing students to go to college for free. He explains those programs and what they mean for the future of education in MA.
