Worcester, MA -Congressman Jim McGovern was a “yes” vote on aid to Ukraine but on aid to Israel he voted “no.” He told Talk of the Commonwealth his reasons. He feels if Ukraine were to fall to Putin and the Russians that would not be the end of it. The war would spread to other countries and the U.S. would be directly involved. On aid to Israel McGovern voted no. He made clear what happened on October 8th was horrific and unconscionable. He said Netanyahu’s response has been horrific and unconscionable with over 34,000 dead, famine and his wanting to enlarge the military attack.
