Strength in Unity: Rollstone Bank Joins River Run Bancorp to Better Serve the Community

Rollstone Bank and Trust will be joining the River Run Bancorp network of mutual community banks. Rollstone President and CEO, Marty Connors, tells us to look for the partnership to take place this summer at which point he will become the Executive Chairman of Board for Rollstone Bank and Trust and serve as Vice Chair of The River Run Board. Connors says becoming part of River Run, will allow Rollstone and others such as Newburyport Bank and Pentucket Bank to become stronger. The banking industry is undergoing tremendous consolidation and Connors says this move is the best way to continue to serve Rollstone customers.
