WORCESTER, MA-Ryan Nesbit, Senior Director, Ticket Sales at the Worcester Red Sox joins President Dr. Charles Steinberg, to talk about Opening Day this Friday and an exciting new program for season ticket holders where they can “bank” their tickets. The RoyalWoo Bank allows season ticket members to convert the monetary value of tickets for games they could not attend into a flexible credit bank. This banked credit can be used to purchase additional tickets, upgrade seats to premium areas like the DCU Club, or even acquire unique experiences such as throwing out a first pitch.
The Hanover Deck has been upgraded with a new roof and heaters, making it a more comfortable, all-weather space for large groups. On nights when the Hanover Deck is not booked by a group, individual fans can purchase an all-inclusive $49 ticket that includes a seat on the deck and a two-hour buffet.
Among the details for opening day, an appearance by Roger “Rocket” Clemens and the continuation of the tradition of Bob Cousy delivering the magic words “play ball.”
Along with Roger Clemens appearance paying tribute to the Father of Modern Rocketry, Dr. Robert Goddard. Dr. Charles shared his original song “Wepa” which has lyrics fitting for Goddard and WooSox mascot Roberto the Rocket who was named after Goddard.
What is the RoyalWoo Bank?
The RoyalWoo Bank is a new ticketing feature from the Worcester Red Sox that allows season ticket holders to convert unused tickets into a credit balance.
