Worcester’s Spectrum Discount Dispute: City Dropping the Ball?

Radio Round Table May 1

Worcester, MA -Gary Rosen talks about his experience calling Spectrum to get the senior discount Worcester residents are owed. He got it for this year but his pleas to speak to a Spectrum Executive to get the discount retroactive for the last nine years went unheeded. Mark Henderson and Gary Rosen feel the city has really dropped the ball on this and need to get going on the lawsuit. Hank ponders if the city is already working behind the scenes on this. That is a minority opinion on this week’s Roundtable.

The conversation over Mill St. continues.

Matt Wally says everyone on the Roundtable is in agreement on Vision Zero going forward in the city but there are questions about Mill St. and that there have been residential complaints. He does feel that in a close 6-5 vote the Council will not vote to go forward with Councilor Bergman’s order to move Mill St. back to how it was before the changes. It appears Councilor Toomey will be the swing vote.
