2025 Baseball Poetry Festival at Polar Park in Worcester
By Staff
WORCESTER, Mass. —The 3rd National Baseball Poetry Festival will be held at Polar Park in Worcester from April 2-4. The festival features a national writing contest for both adults and young people, as well as various poetry reading events and activities throughout the weekend. This year, there are submissions from 37 states and four countries for the adult contest, and nine states are represented in the youth contest. Winners receive certificates, t-shirts, and opportunities to have their poems published and read at the festival events. Worcester was chosen as the host city due to its strong connections to baseball history, the first major league no-hitter, and literature, including being the birthplace of “Casey at the Bat”.
