Lisa Mair is an Independent running for State Senate in the 1st Worcester District.  She was energized by the Bernie Sanders campaign but left the Democrats over the way he was treated and their support of the lockdowns. Something she opposed. Health care is her top priority. She is against the Defund movement and as a small businesses owner wants to roll back regulations to help keep and attract business to the state.

Wendy Wakeman and Undocumented Resident Drivers Licenses

If the residents of MA get the chance to vote on a recent law allowing undocumentated residents the chance to get a license it will be due to the efforts of Wendy Wakeman and others to drive the petition and gather the signatures necessary to put it before the voters. The legislature approved the bill over Governor Charlie Baker’s veto.  Although it is very rare for a law to be repealed, Wakeman tells “Talk of the Commonwealth” the fact a hundred thousand signatures were gathered shows that people are uncomfortable with Massachusetts joining 16 other states in giving people here illegally a driver’s license.

Candidate Forum for the Massachusetts State Senate First Worcester District seat (Worcester, Berlin, Boylston, Northborough, West Boylston).

Held mere days before the Sept. 6 Primary Election, this forum featured JOE PETTY and ROBYN KENNEDY with a mutual goal to inform voters of their platforms and how they plan to make the Senate District and the City of Worcester a better place to live, work, own a business, go to school and to visit.

Thanks to The Willows (Salmon Health and Retirement) for their hospitality.
