Jeffery Sossa-Paquette, who is a Republican running for Congress and is a gay man, spoke with Talk of the Commonwealth about the upcoming vote on same-sex marriage.  He feels they are very close to getting 10 Republican Senators to vote in favor.  He also spoke about getting spending under control and balancing the budget.

Occupants of the Mill Street apartments worried about where they will be living after the roof collapse, have a new worry, being called into court by the landlord’s management firm. Even though the city had yet to determine if the apartment building was safe to return to, the renters are being called to court. District 5 City Councilor Etel Haxhiaj finds the behaviour outrageous and is doing all she can to see the tenants rights are upheld.
