Downtown Worcester BID Seeks Vendors for 2026 “Out to Lunch” Summer Series on the Common

Worcester, MA-On this edition of Voice of Business, Alex Monaco, Program Coordinator for the Downtown Worcester Business Improvement District, spoke about the upcoming “Out to Lunch” summer program. Vendor applications for the 10-week event are open, with a deadline of Tuesday, March 31st. A wide variety of vendors are needed and encouraged to apply, including local farmers, food trucks, restaurants, artisans with handmade goods, nonprofits, and municipal departments. Vendors are encouraged to apply for as many or as few dates as they wish and are not required to commit to the entire 10-week season.
The “Out to Lunch” program is a long-running summer farmer’s market and music festival held every Wednesday from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM on the Worcester Common Oval, running this year from June 24th to August 26th.The event draws over a thousand people each week. “I guarantee as you participate, Out To Lunch, as a vendor, as a customer, you’ll walk away making new connections. That’ll be valuable.” said Monaco.
