WORCESTER, MASS.-The Cannery Music Hall in Southbridge is reopening its doors with a high-energy tribute to one of rock’s most iconic frontmen. On Friday, October 3rd, Billy May, who performs as Paul Stanley in the KISS tribute show One Live KISS, will headline the venue’s grand opening.

May told Hank Stolz that his love for KISS started in childhood, when the band’s makeup, costumes, and constant presence in pop culture first caught his attention. “When you’re a little kid you get taken in by the makeup and the costumes and everything,” May explained. “But you can’t put that into an album and as you grow older, you really love the music and you love what that means to you.”

What sets One Live KISS apart from other tribute acts is its focus on recreating Paul Stanley’s solo tours—rare concerts that even many lifelong KISS fans may have missed. For fans, it’s not just nostalgia; it’s a chance to experience a unique slice of KISS history performed with passion and authenticity.

The Cannery’s reopening marks a new chapter for the historic Southbridge venue, and Billy May’s One Live KISS is setting the stage for a run of memorable performances.
