WORCESTER, MASS- Congressman Jim McGovern says Trump and his allies have been pushing conspiracy theories for years when it comes to Jeffery Epstein and that has come back to bit them.
He is also highly critical of the Big, Beautiful Bill and argues that it provides unnecessary tax cuts for the wealthy while cutting important social programs like Medicaid and SNAP.
He believes the Medicaid cuts in the tax bill will be “devastating” and lead to millions of people losing their healthcare coverage, contrary to claims that Democrats are being “alarmist” about the impacts.

McGovern thinks Worcester exploring a city owned grocery store is worthwhile. “Again, look, one of the challenges we have in terms of food affordability is that a lot of people are forced to rely on these corner stores, which don’t have much of a selection, and sometimes the prices are much inflated. I mean, I think it’s something absolutely worth looking into.”
