Rob Bilotta Talks Safety, Mobility & Housing in District 2 Rematch
Rob Bilotta is running for District 2 City Councilor in Worcester. This sets up a rematch of a race two years ago between Incumbent District Councilor Candy Mero Carlson and Bilotta. In a conversation with the Talk of the Commonwealth, Bilotta put an emphasis on safety and improving our sidewalks. Bilotta, who is in a wheelchair, spoke about the issue of mobility for Worcester citizens. Worcester has been struggling with keeping walkers safe. Bilotta looks toward issues such as crosswalks and signage in the district. He points to ways the WRTA can be used more efficiently. Bilotta also went in depth on housing and how Worcester can be a more affordable city.
