WORCESTER, MA-The Worcester Red Sox are set to roll out three brand-new, one-off team identities for the 2026 season: the Pawtucket Hot Wieners, the Kelley Squares, and Art of the Woo. Team President Dr. Charles Steinberg joined Talk of the Commonwealth to share the stories behind each design.
The Pawtucket Hot Wieners uniform is a nod to Rhode Island, reviving a fan-favorite design from 2018. The Kelley Squares identity pays humorous tribute to Worcester’s famously complex Kelley Square intersection, with artwork that captures the collective anxiety of driving through it. Rounding out the trio, Art of the Woo celebrates Worcester’s thriving arts scene, inspired by the city’s murals and the Pow! Wow! festival.
Fans will have a chance to be the first to get their hands on these limited-edition looks during the WooSox’ final homestand — Fan Appreciation Week. A limited supply of merchandise will be available exclusively at the First Base Plaza kiosk on the following dates:
-
Pawtucket Hot Wieners — Tuesday, September 16 at the 6:05 p.m. game
-
Kelley Squares — Saturday, September 20 at the 4:05 p.m. game
-
Art of the Woo — Sunday, September 21 at the 1:05 p.m. Season Finale
Previous alternate identities, the Wicked Worms and Ruby Legs, will take at least a year off, though discounted merchandise remains available in the Team Store.
