Worcester’s New Weekly Farmers Market: Fresh Food, Local Goods & Live Music at The Market on Brussels!

Worcester is getting a new weekly Farmers Market. The Market on Brussels will run Sundays, from May 18th through October 26th, from 11 am to 3 pm. Julia Moriconi, Mrs. Moriconi’s ice cream and Director of the market, stops by Talk of the Commonwealth to tell us everything we need to know. The market grew out of a very successful event this past Fall. The Market on Exchange put together by Stephanie Ramey. Ramey is a driving force behind this new weekly market. The market will see lots of fresh produce and meats from local vendors. The organizers also have an eye on making sure that the vendors are unique. You’ll see lots of local farms represented but also crafters, food trucks and even live music. A true experience. The Brussels St. area, is home to MJ Whittall Mills which houses a number of great, local businesses, including Mrs. Moriconi’s Ice Cream, Acoustic Java, Courthouse Brewing and more. There is plenty of parking on site.
