WORCESTER, Mass. —Dave Nordman of The Worcester Guardian shares the news of a $100,000 donation from the Cliff and Susan Rucker Charitable Foundation. The Guardian is a nonprofit, free online news organization serving the Worcester, Massachusetts community. Nordman describes the Susan and Cliff Charitable Foundation donation as “transformative,” saying it will allow the Guardian to enhance its website, social media presence, and journalism coverage, particularly around upcoming municipal elections. The Guardian’s mission is to provide nonpartisan, fact-based journalism to the community, helping citizens become more civically engaged. The Guardian is part of the Institute for Nonprofit News, a nationwide network of nearly 400 nonprofit news organizations.
