Chris Dempsey Advocates for a Walkable Worcester with Vision Zero

Chris Dempsey, of Speck Dempsey, is working with the city of Worcester on a more walkable/bikeable city. Worcester is releasing the “Vision Zero Safety Action Plan” that looks at road safety in the city. In the past five years, 43 people were killed and 478 were seriously injured on roadways in Worcester. A more walkable city may be part of the solution to lowering those numbers. Residents are invited to the JMAC in Worcester on Feb. 29th to hear Jeff Speck share a presentation about a more walkable city.
