2023 was a challenging year for Girl’s Inc. as the organization saw claims of racial biases lead to the exit of the CEO and several board members. Enter a new CEO, Tiffany Lillie, formerly of Framingham Public Schools, with a strong background in DEI. Hank speaks with Tiffany about the challenges, the hiring of new team members and bringing in new board members. Girls Inc. never wavered on providing free or low-cost out of school enrichment programming. Lillie doesn’t shy away from talking about the past year and lays out her vision for the future.
