WORCESTER, MA-Whittier Farm’s Model: Sam Whittier explained that her family’s farm focused on “production agriculture,” with dairy, beef, and produce being their core products. Their business model centered on feeding the local community through their year-round, on-site retail store rather than participating in many external farmers’ markets. Stowe Farm’s Model: Maura Stowe described her farm’s focus on agritourism, which she helped start as a teenager. The farm is a seasonal, weekend destination offering activities like apple picking, hayrides, a petting zoo, pig races, and even a mechanical bull to attract families.

Monet Immersive Exhibition Set to Open in Worcester This September

Fresh off the success of The Van Gogh Immersive Experience, Worcester will host a new cultural spectacle this fall. Exhibition Hub’s Craig Morrison announced that The Monet Immersive Experience will arrive in September. On the Discover Central MA Podcast, Morrison appeared with Worcester Bravehearts GM Don Porcaro, who discussed the team’s record-breaking 12th season and previewed the upcoming Futures League All-Star Game at Polar Park on July 22, with a power-packed Home Run Derby at Fitton Field the night before.
