WORCESTER, MAKellee Kosiorek recently shared exciting news on a “Talk of the Commonwealth” segment with Hank Stolz: a special fundraiser for Creative Hub Worcester, featuring a one-of-a-kind, limited-drop auction of original gym floorboards from the historic 2 Ionic Ave Worcester Boys Club, a landmark building erected in 1914.

What is Creative Hub Worcester?

Creative Hub Worcester is a budding community arts center designed to serve as a vibrant gathering place for artists, families, and neighbors. Once open, it will offer:

  • Artist studios for local creatives

  • Youth programs giving young people access to arts, mentorship, and community

  • Community workshops for skills-building and creative expression

  • Public events to bring people together from art shows and performances to classes and local cultural gatherings

The aim is to build a lasting home for creativity, collaboration, and community engagement in Worcester.

The Fundraiser & Auction Own a Piece of History

  • The auction revolves around original gym floorboards from the 1914 Worcester Boys Club a tangible piece of local heritage.

  • Auction opens: Tuesday, December 2

  • Auction closes: Friday, December 5

By participating, community members get the chance to own a unique fragment of Worcester’s past while directly supporting the launch of Creative Hub Worcester’s new arts center.
