WooSox Bring Zombies, Trick-or-Treating, and More to Polar Park This October
Sara Barlok, Director of Special Events, joins WooSox President Dr. Charles Steinberg on this edition of the Worcester Red Sox Show to talk about all the incredible events coming up.
This weekend is the sold out (some SRO tickets may be available) Cosmic Baseball and coming in October it is Boo in the Woo. Tickets are on sale now. Dr. Charles points out that you have the haunted tour for adults, all the zombies you can handle, and you also have the kid friendly, trick or treating, family fest activities on the weekend days that have been so successful in the past.
Get your tickets at polarpark.com/boo. Fright Nights at the Field – Boo in the Woo begins on October 8th and runs through Halloween. Sara tells us the back story of how the WooSox Grounds Crew are the ones who inadvertently unleashed the zombie terror by coming up with a formula for the grass to grow back quicker. Instead, it ….well … take the haunted tour and see. Still some baseball left and Dr. Charles says come see players like Jhostynxon Garcia before they get called up.
