WORCESTER, MA-Dr. Charles Steinberg shared stories this week about the newest inductees into the WooSox Hall of Fame, Class of 2025. The induction ceremony honored Jarren Duran, JP Ricciardi, and Janet Marie Smith on Wednesday, August 20, at Polar Park.

The WooSox Hall of Fame, established in February 2024, celebrates the outstanding careers and contributions of players, managers, coaches, broadcasters, executives, and others who have been instrumental in Worcester baseball history.

The inaugural class of 2024 included Larry Lucchino, the late Chairman & Principal Owner of the Worcester Red Sox and Boston Red Sox Hall of Famer; Ed Augustus Jr., former Worcester City Manager; and Rich Gedman, the former Boston Red Sox catcher and current WooSox hitting advisor, who is also a Boston Red Sox Hall of Famer.

This year’s honorees continue that legacy, with Steinberg reflecting on their impact both on the field and behind the scenes in shaping the WooSox and Polar Park experience.
