WORCESTER, MA– Dr. Charles Steinberg breaks down how he came up with the theme for WooSox ’26. The new theme song will debut at the start of the season but we get a sneak peek at what it will sound like. Steinberg explained that the song was inspired by increased fan attendance at Polar Park and the idea of the park being “better than ever when we’re together.” He details the lyrical structure, which features three vignettes representing different generations of fans: a young child, college students, and an adult with their elderly parents. The next step will be bringing it to the L.A. studio musicians who will add to what Dr. Charles has done. “You don’t know what you’re going to find in the studio that day, so you go in with as much of it, as much of it as you feel, but you really have to be open to the brilliance of these artists and let’s see what they come up with too.”
