WooSox Fan Appreciation Week: Final Homestand of 2025

WORCESTER, MASS. It’s the Worcester Red Sox final homestand of the season, and the club is celebrating with Fan Appreciation Week packed full of special happenings.

On Tuesday, fans can be the first to pick up the brand-new “Pawtucket Hot Wieners” jersey at the team store. It will also be the final “Tail Waggin’ Tuesday” and “Taco & Tequila Tuesday” of the year.

Throughout the week, WooSox players will stop into Sherwood’s Diner to sign autographs before games.

Friday features the last Unibank Fireworks show of the season with the theme “Love is All You Need.”

Sunday’s season finale kicks off with a “Meet the Team” event, giving fans 45 minutes on the field with the players for autographs. After the game, lucky fans will receive the “shirts off the players’ backs.” The day will wrap up with the final Kids Run the Bases and a Sunset Catch on the field.

The Irish Festival returns to Worcester on Saturday, October 4th, at Polar Park, promising its biggest celebration yet. Organizers Caitlyn and Gareth are expanding the festival with Irish trivia at Moynagh’s Tavern, cultural workshops on Guinness and the Irish language, and performances by Irish historians and musicians, including Derek Warfield and the Young Wolfe Tones. Sports fans will enjoy a lineup of Gaelic matches, featuring ladies’ football, men’s hurling, and a showcase game with the NYPD Gaelic football team.
