WORCESTER, MA– Dr. Charles Steinberg gives us all the information we need on Roger Celmens coming to Polar Park for Opening Day on March 27th, 2026. First pitch at 4:05. Doors will open at 1 p.m. Clemens will be greeting and taking pictures with fans but no autographs. It is appropriate that Clemens is visiting the park in March. March 2026 is the 100 year anniversary of Dr. Robert Goddard successfully firing his liquid fueled rocket in Auburn. Who better than to usher in the new season then baseball’s own “Rocket,” Roger Clemens.

Steinberg also went over the improvements that fans can expect this season at Polar Park. A canopy over the Hanover Deck, complete with heaters, to keep visitors protected from the elements. The decomposed granite behind the Worcester Wall will be replaced with concrete and a pool table with ties to Larry Lucchino and Fenway Park will be added to the Royal Wooters Club.
